Magnun Sess Premium wins a Silver Medal in Los Angeles
One more award! This time it was the prestigious jury of the Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition that awarded a Silver Medal to the quality of Magnun Sess Premium. The prestigious international competition has highlighted this extra virgin’s unique organoleptic profile in which its high intensity of fruitiness stands out.
Every year more awards are instituted to recognize the quality of olive oils in the world. There are already so many that many producers are forced to present their juices to some competitions and discriminate against others. This is precisely what happens to us who, in our short but intense trajectory in the bottling industry, participate in competitions that have revalidated their great prestige worldwide throughout their editions.
One of these competitions is Los Angeles International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition. Organised in the United States, has surrendered to the quality of Magnun Sess Premium by awarding it a Silver Medal in the Intense Fruit Category.
The jury of this prestigious competition has recognized the unique organoleptic profile of this single variety of Picual made from a selection of green harvested olives. It has an intense fruitiness with aromas and flavors of green leaf, green tomato, banana, some artichoke and a little pepper.
In the mouth, Magnun Sess Premium also surprised to the tasting panel for its spicy taste and its characteristic bitterness, which only denote its very high content of polyphenols -natural antioxidants-.
Without a doubt, this olive juice is an excellent ally in the kitchen. A raw material with which any lover of the healthiest gastronomy will be able to enrich their dishes and provide them with spectacular nuances.
An international competition
According to its organizers – Fairplex-, this competition “is one of the most recognized in the United States and the fifth worldwide, bringing together the highest standards of integrity and professionalism by awarding medals to the best oils from around the world”.
In its 21st edition, this international competition has received 600 extra virgin olive oils from Spain and other countries such as Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, France, Greece, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Morocco, Portugal, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey and the United States.
